In this semester I studied N175. It was more deeply in all reading, listening and writing. In reading the vocabulary were more difficult and variety. Also the questions were harder. In fact, it was benefit to find the answer after some searching and read more than one time. The listing improved clearly. I think it was not very hard as well as help me to improve my skills. The most benefit for me was in writing exercises. The graphs helped me to be more specific when I take the notes. Also the argument is important to open my mind and write about some statement. In addition, the number of words that I learned in this semester will help me so much to join my major which is business, because it needs strong language skills.

life style
In the past people were using simple ways for entertainment or news, but now there are many ways of receiving new and entertainment such as TV and the internet. I agree with new ways, in this essay I will describe the positive and negative of different ways.
Let me deal first with the positive side of different. First, nowadays the life become more comfortable and easier, because there are many ways take information from also with different references as you like such as TV and the internet. Second, the ways now included internet and mobiles you can uses in both for news and entertainment. For example, there are millions websites in the internet many of them and many games and so on. The thing is that nowadays you can which type of news you like, sports people can only read the sport news with a high writer.
Although I agree with that but there is argument of, first some people said in these days you don’t know what is benefit for the said many news TV in many direction like sport and health. That’s all we don’t care about. Secondly, you can do activity for entertainment such as camel racing and running.
In conclusion, I think new ways are more comfort for all people to get there wants. Find the news and entertainment in easy way.
Higher educations
Students at HCT don’t have to pay for their education. In other places they do. I agree with this, some other people disagree. Overall, I will describe the pros and cons of free education.
Let me deal first with the positive side of free education. The main point is that free education will help many students who don’t have enough money to continue their study. In free education students will get high market because they will don’t think about the cost of studying or where they will pay from. In free education students will be serious in their studs, because there are many students who want to join these places so you must be careful for your study and the attendants. The last positive on my opinion in free education places is that they always do their best because all of them get their salary directly without thinking about the profit or the money, they are stable.
There are some points for this argument. First, some students will need to work while they are studying which that my effect their grades. For example, they will not find enough time for study or do projects. The second main point is that the students will be serious for study because they are paying, so they will take care about studying and take more attention in classroom. Thirdly, these kinds of universities or colleges get profit from students, so they will have more offers to please their students and attract more students.
Overall, I believe that both sides are right, but I disagree with pay education because you can spend your money on other important things like help your parents to increase the income or saving money to get married.

The biggest increase in the graph record Canada workers was from 1992 to 2002 to about 90000, there is a big decreased in UK workers from 1993 to 2000 by about 10000 workers but the workers from increased from 2000 to 2006 to about 90000

#5 Advertisements
Advertisements
Nowadays, the show has many advertisements. The advertisements show many new products and things that help the customer to make their choice. However, I agree with this idea, although there are arguments on both sides.
Let me deal first with the positive side of advertisements on TV. The main point is that advertisements make TV channels free. For example, many channel’s profit come from advertisements. The second point is that it’s a benefit for people who watch TV to know about new products. The last point is that advertisements help many people to find a job. For example, when the channels make high profits from advertisements so, these normally will be some plans to add the business.
I think there are also negative arguments against the topic. If there are needs no advertisements you will have pay for TV. It is too expensive, you can pay just a little for no advertisements less than media. Channels with no advertisements are very interesting like sports and movie channels. Advertisements only keep boring because if I want more I can watch it on the internet.
Overall, I agree with advertisements because it is benefit for the TV station.
People who get jobs and people who watch informed about products.

Children Watching TV
In the past there was no TV. Children depended on playing outside or other activities in the free time. Nowadays children waste much time watching TV. In this essay, I will describe some causes of children watching TV, and I will suggest some solutions to this problem.
There are several reasons why children spend much time watching TV. First of all, many new games are electronic games like play station, video games and movies. Many families prefer this way to keep their children at home. Another reason is that if they stay at home they will lose their health of absence of activities. They will be obesity and it affects their eyes. The most important reason is that they will leave other important work like homework, or to sit with family and do some sports.
Although these problems are serious, we can take some steps to solve the problem. First, the parents must order time for children to watch the TV. Another solution is that don’t buy electronic games for children and try to focus on activities games like football and tennis.
In conclusion, TV is a bad influence and it depends on the person who uses it, it is a problem because it effects eyes and the health. We can solve this problem by controlling the schedule. I hope that we act now before it’s too late.
Spending On Leisure In UK
The two pie chart show spending on leisure in UK by age group. Overall, electronic equipment is the biggest percent for ages 20-30 and 50-60.
The most popular percents is electronic equipment which is 41% in group of 20,30 years old and it is 38% in group of 50-60 years old, then the charts show that the lowest thing for both groups is photography with 5%. The second thing with 20-30 years old group is sports about 20% but the second highest thing in 50-60 group is books and magazines.
Finally, I think old people care more about books and magazines, then young but they don’t prefer sports.
Obesity In The UAE
Nowadays a lot of people have obesity problem, especially in the modern country like UAE who have faced this problem. In last few years UAE was not popular in this case as much as now. In this essay, I will outline some problems linked to obesity and suggest some viable solutions.
Starting with the dangers, diet one of the biggest. To clarify, people who faced this problem are not taken a responsibility of their health because they are eat fast food, traditional food which contains a lot of oils and they don’t care about the healthy meals which contain all required vitamins. The second main cause of obesity problem is the lifestyle. Today people are so careless in doing exercises and any other activities, they have easier live and a lot of them have sedentary jobs, so they spend more them time in the offices order fast foods and going home to sleep!. The last main causes I will tell you about it is lack of education. A lot of UAE families don’t have a knowledge about good eating habits, they are also didn’t get enough awareness of good nutrition and other health issues.
Fortunately, there are some solutions for the Obesity problem. One of solution is to educate people in special class about eating right, especially children. The second solution is that encourage people to eat healthy and eat with their families. Teach people how to do some activity everyday such as go with Mr.Greg.
At the end I’d like to clarify that the Obesity is a big problem and we really need to be more series to find some solutions and work hard to it.
